The Hill is a community of residence halls located on the southern end of Auburn University central campus. It currently consists of four remaining residence halls built in the early 1960s, and two additional residence halls built in the mid-1990s.[1] The complex is located on the block between Mell Street, West Samford Avenue, Duncan Drive, and P.O. Davis Drive.

The Auburn University Board of Trustees approved a plan in September 2019 to demolish the residence halls and replace them with new buildings.[2] The demolition was delayed by the University's measures in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the first phase of demolition was approved in November 2021. The demolition of Dobbs Hall, Dunn Hall, Graves Hall, and Toomer Hall is planned to take place from March to September 2022.[3] The remaining residence halls are planned to be demolished in three more phases from June 2022 to February 2023.
