Central campus, also known as the core, is the area bounded by, but not including, Magnolia Avenue, Samford Avenue, Donahue Drive and College Street.[1]

Access[edit | edit source]

Between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, access to the central campus is restricted.[1]

Only vehicles registered to an A or B parking zone are permitted in this designated area from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday; an allowance is made for RX and RO permitted vehicles designated for Quad residence halls, but only to enter the Mell Street corridor. Temporary loading zone permits issued to persons with C, PC1, PC2, PC3, or any R permit also allow access based on the designation on the temporary loading permit.[1]

City of Auburn Police Department as well as the Department of Public Safety and Security have the authority to stop vehicles for driving in central campus in violation of the above; Parking Services may issue citations for driving in central campus.[1]
