Leach Science Center was built in 1967. The building currently houses the university's linear particle accelerator, a cobalt-60 source submerged in a pool of water, and torsatron (a device used to sustain nuclear fusion reactions). AubieSat also moved their lab space here from Allison Physics Labs and Broun Hall.
