Broun Hall is the electrical engineering building. The building was finished in 1984. The first floor (basement) houses the HKN study room (commonly known as the green room), a vending area with a foosball table, and a computer lab. The second floor (main floor) has two large lecture halls separated by a movable partition, the electrical engineering department main office. All four floors contain classrooms, undergraduate and graduate labs, and offices.
The front doors are locked around 5pm. The basement doors remain unlocked so that students may access the first floor computer lab and study room at all hours. Additionally, you can access the rest of the building if you have been granted keypad access from the basement or through the rear doors at the loading dock.
